Know before you go! For all diving programs, you need to answer and sign a medical questionnaire. The purpose of this is to find out if you should be examined by your doctor before participating in recreational diving activities. A positive response does not necessarily disqualify you from diving; it means there is a preexisting medical condition that may affect your safety while diving and you must seek the advice of your physician prior to engaging in diving. Read all questions carefully! For example: 'Have you ever had or do you currently have frequent or severe motion sickness' doesn't mean a 'YES' if you are getting a little seasick by joining a boat ride on rough sea. If you are not sure of a certain question, feel free to message beforehand.
